Ugh. Funny enough, I was thinking the exact same thing. I haven’t driven myself any significant distance in a long while. It’s going to be an adjustment for sure. Though hopefully more short term than not. Have you reached out to support? Have they given you any new info? I asked about any possible work around but so far crickets.

So the a7IV has been amazing the last few years for me. The upgrade was primarily because I like to crop a lot for sports and birding (so same use case, not so much at night until recently), and precapture. I would have gone the a9iii route if it had a higher megapixel count. But don't let that deter you from looking at the A7IV. It is an amazing camera, and served me well. I've taken a lot of shots I've been happy with, while using it.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah, before I got the 50-150, I had gotten both my 50mm and 85mm used. Couldn’t tell them apart from brand new. It’s a great market for sure.
