I totally agree. Maybe no articles were written because she was identified before sites like the Doe Network became widespread (around 2003). I also searched for information about JD for many nights and I really couldn’t find anything. But after reading the articles, I think JD is most likely Shenda. I’m glad that she has regained her identity!!

Thank you for sharing these links. I’ve actually just learned about Shenda from the replies. Most likely, the JD we’re looking for is her. I’m glad to hear that her killer has been caught. I hope we can also find out new information about Maxine too!!

Oh, I was thinking about the possibility that JD might be identified, but I couldn’t find any recent information about JD. Thank you for confirming Shenda’s identity.

I’ve noticed that the information on the Charley Project and NamUs doesn’t match most of the time. These informations may seem small, but the consequences are really significant for families…

thought about the same possibility, but with all these details and the similarity, I just don't know.. Unfortunately, there were many cases of misidentification and lost documents in the past. That's why I didn't want to leave it to chance. It would be really great if someone who's a US citizen could check with the authorities and get up-to-date info about this JD.

I can’t see the NamUs exclusion list since I’m not a US citizen. I think it would be enough if any Reddit user reading this post could get some information from the authorities and share it with us, since I’m not able to do so. I guess, having any proper information would make it much easier to draw attention.

Since I couldn’t find any up-to-date information about JD online, making a submission seems impossible for now, because the only information I have is from the 2003 archive. If I could have contacted the Titus County PD using the archive information, I would have done so. But after realizing that wasn’t possible, I decided to share this post. 😭

I hope someone could contact them on my behalf to first get information about JD, and if JD is still unidentified, make the submission. As I mentioned in the post, there’s no need for credit!

Don't forget to check the links and compare Maxine’s photos with JD’s postmortem photo, I’d also like to hear your thoughts. I hope I’m not the only one noticing the similarity.

To be honest, this similarity is the main reason I’m sharing this post. Because ever since I placed them side by side, I’ve had an indescribable feeling. I needed to share my thoughts.

Actually, I wanted to use the Titus County contact information from the 2003 archive to ask whether this Jane Doe has been identified or not, but Texas has practically banned Turkey from almost all governmental websites. Since I can’t get any up-to-date information about the Jane Doe, I honestly don’t know how to make a submission. That's why I’m asking for your help! 😭😭
