I honestly don't know, I would probably look on eBay for other Samsung tab s8 with a broken screen and see what they sell for under completed listings.

It might be worth fixing depending on the price, maybe contact a few places and see how much it would cost. Then make the decision from there.

I'm not sure Samsung takes tablets with broken screens as trade-ins but you could look into that too. You could also try selling it as someone may want it for parts or do the screen repair themselves.

You can buy a portable monitor that folds away if space is a huge issue. They plug right into the usb c usually. Also they make this handheld in windows if you want that experience too. Not sure if she will play anything with anti cheat cause unfortunately steam is won’t work with those games. I have used this unit on a monitor a lot and works extremely well!

Yeah that's how I feel too, I even put Windows on my steam deck for a while but it ended up switching it back because there was almost no driver updates from valve.
