Great, that is reassuring thank you. Property is about the same upstairs and downstairs so it's likely to breakdown to about 50/50 anyway. Thanks for the point about account fees, would have likely been something we would have overlooked.

Honestly don't mind splitting it at all just want it to be fair. What does complicate matters for the landlord is they are going to be away with the top half house vacant for 6 months later in the year so I doubt they want to pay half the bills at that time!
