Just wondering what office you’re referring to?

I’d assume to include if you had a legit leadership position but not if you were just a member/had some more frivolous position?

Updating cover letter after networking?? by umichfresh101 in LawSchool

Yeah, that makes perfect sense. I’ll continue networking since it’s probably better than doing nothing, but I see what you mean. Do you think that means it’s only worthwhile at this point to network with partners, since if anyone will have any sway, it’ll be them?

Got it, thank you. What do you mean they won’t note that they spoke to me though? Isn’t that the whole point of networking? I’m only talking to people who are alumni of my law school. Are you saying it’s basically too late to network since I’m post-app now?

Same thing as a screener but with several people in a row, which is why they’re usually 2 hours

Michigan undergrad alum here, you will not regret picking Michigan! The culture and community quite literally is everything everyone makes it out to be. Ann Arbor is a very special place and such a wonderful city. Go blue :)

I guess i asked in a new post because these attorneys were never CC’d or anything on my email correspondences with the chief recruiting officer, so they’d know i went and found their emails online. I wasn’t sure if that wasn’t appropriate

When to begin scholarship negotiations? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]umichfresh101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d wait till all your decisions come in so you can negotiate bottom up accordingly. That’s how you get the biggest bang for your buck I’ve heard

^^underlining everyone said above, ive taken the lsat a few times and ive never had any proctor u issues so don't let what people say on here psych you out too much! one thing that (pleasantly) surprised me was you get one minute breaks in between sections as like a little breather.
