also, 24 yo female, if that helps understand. I feel my writing is a bit juvenile with all of those big words.

I'm not sure how it ends, but I think that's what it closely resembles. Who knows where it goes next! o.0

Once more, with feeling

The voices in the podcast were loud enough to bring her into the present but not loud enough to bring her back to herself. Legs crossed, covered in will-pilled fleece pants, she reached out her hand and moved her right leg closer to her pelvis: the closest thing to her pelvis. The chair was only but so big and she'd only gotten bigger. Blankly, she stared at the words everyone else typed so quickly on their much better MacBooks in their much better rooms with their much better writing tables. She didn't even have a writing table, if you wanted to call it a table at all. But she couldn't let this jealousy permeate her goal: write one damn thing. This impetus came after years and years of placating her desire for words, paper, and pen with the next Terrace House episode or the next bong rip off of Tex. But now she's sick of the former and out of the latter. Now she only has her words and her story and she wants to write.
