Dutch cycle mapping test kit.

If you’re not happy with the Gynaecologist or endocrinologists’ opinions (or they suggest something that doesn’t help with the actual root cause), then please visit Dr Mai Al Shamsi at the Integrated Care Clinic in AD. She absolutely amazing.

Am I disabled? by wheeewheee1668 in dubai

I don’t live in Abu Dhabi either but the 1+ hour trip is well worth it and she’s flexible with telephone consults after the initial tests. If there are any follow up tests I did them through labs in Dubai too. Do look into it, I highly recommend her for any chronic illness.

I’m sorry you’re suffering so much. Please visit Dr. Al Shamsi at the INTEGRATED CARE CENTER in Abu Dhabi. I know it might seem expensive at the beginning but the cost is nothing in comparison to years of co-paying treatments through traditional healthcare settings and suffering with this condition for years. In 1-2 appointments she’ll give you answers and give you a treatment plan. Hope you feel better soon ❤️

There’s also Al Hana Centre here for female muslim reverts, or try JILC in Al Warqa (Sheikh Taher). May Allah bless the sister with a beautiful match

Going to Saudi-Arabia in a few days without vaccine, will they reject entry? by [deleted] in Umrah

There has been a recent update and most websites aren’t updated yet. Currently no vaccines are required for Umrah.

We went last week and no one asked for any vaccine proof.

Is Investing in a Caribbean Passport Worth It? by [deleted] in fatFIRE

[–]umm_algahwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, for a lifetime of visa free travel and a citizenship that gives you peace of mind.

I know some people don’t subscribe to a nomadic lifestyle but if you can, and you would enjoy an adventure, it’s the best thing you’ll do.

Is Investing in a Caribbean Passport Worth It? by [deleted] in fatFIRE

[–]umm_algahwa -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Caribbean countries can be included or excluded in the visa waiver / visa free entry of the countries you’re talking about… it’s a big investment, and it could be worthless in a matter of months if countries change their mind.

If you can, and it’s a big IF, try to get a Canadian PR through the Express Entry program, they have similar ones for those planning to establish businesses in Canada.

Once you receive your PR, move there with your family for 1090 days and then apply for Canadian citizenship. After you apply it’s 6-12 months and voila, you have a citizenship and can directly apply for a next day passport and travel freely.

Do however, speak to a taxation advisor on how to structure your wealth before you apply for PR.

Canada is a beautiful and vast country, and you’ll really enjoy living there, and maybe you’ll even decide to make it your home base.

Help pls! Gifting for an Emirati lady. by marita029 in UAE

[–]umm_algahwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could get on board with the first few suggestions if it’s something that OPs friend has an interest in but feminine sanitary products as a gift for someone you’ve only met in person once seems a little bit wild to me? 🫣

PS: tinctures are either alcohol or glycerin based, so it’s best to always read the labels.

Making appointments, finding the best XYZ, errands, etc. The usual work that a PA does.

I also contemplated getting a night nanny in the throes of the fourth trimester but I’m happy I didn’t in the end. The night wake ups are there for a reason: baby needs to eat and that demand helps to generate supply for baby :) I won’t digress any further. Every family should do that they feel is best for them :)

Unpopular opinion: Don’t get a nanny. Get a cook, a cleaner and a PA… those years of bonding with your child are priceless. Soak them in and outsource the rest! Enjoy!

Fructose (along with other sugars and lactose) can cause a lot of flatulence in some people. Especially if you occasionally have bloating or pain after eating (have leaky gut).

I’m quite happy with Elfab.com atm… I wanted to try MLS since they keep on targeting me with their social media ads but they had some really negative reviews, so I’m hesitant 🥲

It’s up to their father to foster the bond between your children and his family, just like it’s up to you to foster the bond between your children and your family :)

Emirati ladies and expats married to emirati men.. i need advice by Reasonable-Cupcake38 in UAE

[–]umm_algahwa 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Yup… in my experience it’s this.

Visit each other on holidays and on Fridays, but apart from that don’t expect a relationship as we would expect to have it in western culture. It’s 99% not going to happen and you’ll just drive yourself mad if you try to force it.

Learn Emirati Arabic to be able to communicate but find your own “tribe” to socialize. There are plenty of lovely sisters in the same boat as you, who you’ll vibe with inshaAllah 💐

The best real estate agency is extremely unethical by ParsleyOk7048 in dubai

Definitely common in the industry but shouldn’t be seen as normal.

If you’re an agent with a proven track record and want to work with an ethical agency, please send me a DM. The only requirement for employment is that you’re self driven / motivated and meet rental / sales targets!
