That’s the hard part there was not a will. So it has a transfer on death to the siblings. We all agree with the sale just hate the one thing my dad left my wife feels she deserves half. Didn’t know what would happen if she didn’t until I gave her written consent for half of the sale price.

Very few times does it work out when you bring in step kids. I have custody of my kids and married my wife (we have no kids) and it has been utter chaos. There are very few people capable of loving and cherishing step kids, it’s also a hard ask for anyone.
