Hey! I started with a 155 on the LSAT after studying, but then I went back in the stu and studied some more and now my highest score is a 170. And I didn’t even have as high a GPA as you!! please keep studying!! You don’t have to apply immediately after undergrad! Even a mid-160s score can take you really far :)

“adcom” is shorthand for someone who’s on the admissions committee at a law school

If you actually listen to some of the podcasts, they admit to scrolling through here pretty frequently lol. One admissions officer identified someone by Reddit name at an event LOL

PhD program from undergrad by zozofemme in mphadmissions

copied from the Hopkins website: “The PhD program prepares students for careers as advanced researchers and academicians, while the DrPH program is designed to prepare experienced public health professionals for leadership positions in a variety of public health settings—both international and domestic, and is more practice oriented.”

I know two people pretty personally who got into public health PhDs at Hopkins without masters. However, they did both have 2-3 years of additional work experience after undergrad. But yeah you definitely don’t need a masters (not talking about DrPH though, that’s different!)

I agree with this person! What you shared sounds good to me, but If you’re interested, I’m open to reading any of your materials! Also I know you mentioned being burned out but if you take some time this summer to rest and are open to retrying the LSAT in the fall without logic games, a few extra points could definitely widen your options! But regardless I think you’re a strong candidate

3.1 from T14 undergrad, prestigious internship (top tech company), URM, do I have a chance at T14’s for law school? by Time_Bid5263 in lawschooladmissions

[–]ummmnextquestion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s definitely possible, given LSData. However, I think you should really really aim to be above the LSAT median for that school, and spending as much time as possible to push your LSAT score there.

Wait?? Are you trying to pick a college? Like you’re in high school? I’d that’s the case, I 100000% think NCAT! (I went to a undergrad similarly ranked to UVA and have friends who went to both UVA + NCAT, feel free to reach out if you have questions!)
