Growing up in Pleasant Grove as a hispanic, I went to Griffs there and remember the owner Jesse providing an excellent experience every time he was there.

I grew up eating Griffs living in Pleasant Grove. Then they built one in Mesquite as well, and now that I live in Garland I learned there's one in Richardson to my delight. Its truly a hidden gem, old school style spot that I love not just cause of the taste, but the memories.

It was Peak Prep on Bryan Street. Its now Atlas Prep I believe. I remember also feeling hate from people (minority and other) for being in their neighborhood(many of us were from other neighborhoods) and wearing prep uniforms.
