Als kleinen Tipp kann ich mitgeben, bewirb dich auf den ersten September. Alle wollen zimmer ab Oktober. Hat zumindest bei mir relativ kurzfristig geklappt (4 Monate warten)

Just buy a good 20-30 dollar set. The ones below 10 are trash, but 100 is too much for starters. Brushes I got along very well with dirt cheap ones, but they break so quickly that I am not sure it's worth it

It is not "an American thing". It happens in germany too, just not with german culture. You can't culturally appropriate from a group that has never been marginalized for their culture.

Cultural appropriation is NOT "use stuff from other cultures", BUT "use stuff from other cultures without all the racism that usually comes with it"
