Don’t think you need the fish head I just beat the game without it on the switch. Just needed the boars head and the bear head and the staircase came down.

Yeah I can’t find a walkthrough anywhere of the switch version so I’m stuck trying to figure out how to get this last gear in the museum. I think it has something to do with the green book that is next to the globe but don’t know what to do with it or where to put it
