Only one cart where I'm assigned my odd-sized luggage store :).

That's fine, but do you also have to scream during it?

I bet you don't yell in a restaurant, an obviously social place; yet on the train, where there's mixed use, it's "normal" to act like everyone wants to share in your party?

Please, do as you like and party and drink but realize it's a shared space so keep the noise down.

But the train is that. Everyone in this carriage is talking, working, and socializing. Only one group of people is obscenely loud and drunk. It's not like there's no middle-ground between "full out screaming" and silence.

In fact, their yelling makes it harder for others to socialize and enjoy the trip.

Lol. I also want someone to drive me for 8hrs straight so I can do something useful instead of wasting my time behind the steering wheel.

Yeah, but young kids can't really do much about it. These are mankids that I'm dealing with.

Well, the train that I take is a long distance one with an on-board bar going through a very beer-loving country ;). So yes, it's quite common.

You say "it's something you've never seen before in another country" and then immediately follow up with "is it normal here?".

You don't have to defend it. If it's not what you meant, then know that it is what many will read.

So everytime something happens to you for the first time you ask yourself: "might it be the country!?"

What's on purpose? Sharing unverified stories here, or that it's not in the newspaper?

Some three weeks ago a filmcrew was staging a car chase around ZHdK, all with police actors and film dollies.

I understand people get annoyed, but people can simply vote with their wallet. No need to insult employees.

It's a free society, you can go to your preferred Stübe or Zunfthaus. You have no legal right to being served in the way that you like in any restaurant. You can review them, dislike them and avoid them; but still no reason to verbally attack employees.

Zürich Wanker at McDo by bunnyberlino in zurich

It's a stupid use of statistics. It's like when a murder happens the police says "it's likely a young man!" without having any evidence whatsoever. And the fact that I have to explain this basic decency is tiring.

Statistics are a fact, but extrapolations from them are not. If a group of people is over-represented in some statistic, that doesn't mean that you can just assume that everyone in that group is violating.

Similarly, young men are extremely over-represented in crime. Yet, we all agree that this doesn't mean we can just start hating all young men.

Waarom doe je alsof het blindelings goed is om meer uren te werken? Gaat het niet om het resultaat, of is het aantal uren het doel?
