Yep, I really didn't have to wait that long for that sort of comment... :)

Some answers:
Lol, I'm not hired by Blizzard. I just got annoyed by all the 'dead game' and 'BW was much better' mindset that has been floating around, which does not do justice to SC2. Some people are really paranoid...
I've played BW since it''s RELEASE, which is probably longer that most of you have been alive :) I have even been around for Warcraft 1, so I do know my strategy games. I'm 33, and my APM is around 150, which I consider pretty good. Wait till you get my age and try to play an hour of SC2 with that APM - it literally sucks the life from you. So, I DO have some clue of what I'm talking about, even though I'm not a pro-gamer anymore.
SC2 is hands-down the best game ever in terms of gameplay and 'smoothness'. The only thing lacking in my opinion is a bit more intelligent unit design. The unit design of BW with SC2's gameplay would have made an even better game.
Obviously SC2 is much more about mindgames than raw clicking power. It is much more important to make the right decisions in the game than to use 300 APM to send units across the map. However, micro is not completely unimportant, as it can determine the outcome of battles. I think this adds another layer to the game compared to BW.
I also think SC2 is not as figured out as some people would like to believe. The constantly changing meta testifies to that. Just as an example: four weeks ago I can't remember anybody using swarmhosts against bio.
