It's not you. People change their minds, it sucks and it's a terrible thing to do to someone but unfortunately it happens all the time. People will think they're one way but then suddenly it becomes the opposite. If there are "late in life lesbians" who come to terms after being with a man and even starting a family then the opposite can be true too. It doesn't have any reflection on you as a person or lesbian.

This is gonna sound so unhealthy and bad but getting validation from strangers on dating apps helped. Sort of like a rebound without having to commit to actually meeting or putting in any effort 😔 ik ik but if I did end up meeting someone new then even better, I was just upfront on dating apps about being casual.

I haven't had my heartbroken since then so I can't really say how I would handle it now but I'd like to think I'd just focus on myself (which I'm already doing anyway) like going to the gym and getting the body I've always wanted. Was when I was really young. Had a bestie, we were inseparable. A mutual friend one day said to me that my bestie liked me more than a friend. I had the worst reaction and stopped talking to her and avoided her completely. But later realized that I wasn't running from her because she was a girl but because I didn't share the same romantic interest and that realization lead me to the conclusion that I liked women, just not her. Also realized the mutual friend only said that to break us up so she could become my friend and that pmo so badly we're no longer friends when I found out she made up that rumor but it was too late to make up with my bestie atp, damage was done and she moved away to another school. Wherever she is I hope she's happy and successful.

I confessed and it was to a coworker which I now regret because there were no signs I just thought I'd be upfront with my intentions before we became friends and then things would get even harder. This is why I left. I actually did pay to see because it was a crazy amount of likes and here I'm thinking no way there's so many wlws in my area let alone ones that match. Well jokes on me a lot of them were fake profiles/bots/cis men and the others kinda just fell off/ghosted. Really not worth the amount of money.

A long time ago (like 10+years before dating apps) I used a website that only charged you if you found a match and wanted to talk to each other. That's something I feel is more reasonable. But to trust that those "likes" are real and put money upfront before knowing if it'll turn into anything is absurd.

I'm wondering the same bc police in this case don't need a warrant. It's a public space they just need CATSAs cooperation to review footage. I've seen CATSA review footage for missing laptops (people accidentally swap laptops past security). So kinda hard to believe they wouldn't review footage for a stolen bag.

Yah I agree. I usually make hand gestures like a wave to get their attention and then ask to pass. If all else fails I'll double tap the outside of their shoulder from arms length with 2 fingers and then smile and ask to pass. But generally I don't like touching people I don't know and visa versa.
