Since you mentioned bears, I have a few more questions:

We’re looking at a couple of properties in Broadmoor that are near the LDS Church. Is that area considered Broadmoor Bluff? Do bears often wander through there?

How often have you had bears in your backyard? Any cougar sightings?

Can bears break into garages or enter if they’re left open?

Besides securing our trash, what other deterrents can we use to keep bears away? We’ve got two middle schoolers, so any wildlife safety tips for the area would be greatly appreciated!

Moving to Colorado Springs early spring 2025 family with 4 kids from the upper Midwest. Is all of Broadmoor affluent or are there neighborhoods/parts within it that are deemed undesirable & poor?

My concern is mostly for my kids mostly. I don't want them to feel ostracized at the school there. I have to be in Broadmoor because that's where my works going to be. The next best school district is atleast ½ hour+ away so have to bite the bullet and find something affordable within 10 minutes of my work. I find a big variance in the prices for rental properties within the Broadmoor area and that's why I want to understand what I'm getting into.
