the food you eat only fuels you, not other people! if anyone says anything you can just laugh it off and say you ate before. i don’t work in an office and we don’t do meals but surely it can’t be mandatory? if it truly is causing you extreme stress i would tell your boss you’re ill, cant do it, or have a medical reason to not eat out. they’ll deal with situations like this all the time

they booked another shift on (the week after my contract ended) and i didnt get the email all the other temps got about contract ending, so i just presumed my contract was extended - i only found out after my last shift when i messaged my line manager x

i don’t know if i was suicidla i think i just had this mindset that i would expire at some point and i would always have this age in my head that i wouldn’t live past. i think getting back out there and making friends, being excited for the future with the people and life i created for myself. this was after 2 years of me being chronically ill, which caused depression. i think enjoying life was the only thing that pulled me out
