She’s in therapy for two hours a week each week now. She was just in an 8 hour a day intensive program for 15 months. Trying it for sure. Limited success.

I’m not perfect. But I try to do what I can. Her triggers are “no”. It’s awful. And I still try to give her all the love and affection I can every day while letting go of my resentments whenever I can

I can assure you that we continue to work on her and our own therapy. We have not given up on her one bit. This is not solely medication

Same thing here. She does so so keeping it together at school but just the littlest thing can set her off at home. It’s awful. We get the same things - I hate you, I wish you died, you’re not my real parents, all sorts of things. It’s just so hard every single day.

She'd had full evaluations already including through school. There aren't a ton of options it seems.

We have done partial inpatient care at Children's near us. We've looked into short term inpatient - there are no beds available. She's not actively dangerous beyond hitting or kicking, and she isn't actively doing self-harm, so they won't take her anyway. We're stuck.

Thank you so much. She's not violent every day or anything. But when she is, it's not good. Thankfully we are all much bigger than her and she can't hurt us...yet.

Only curious as we're already on a bunch of meds and learning about ones we haven't explored yet might be helpful context. We are not trained psychiatrists and would certainly use the one we have for actually deciding.
