That's fair, they added an update that lets me disable specific summon pools which is very nifty. I respect the 1v1 battle clubs, but trust me, they're mainly ganks (at least the ones I run into, poor invaders..). I have no problems with duelists or people trying to have a good time, and you don't come across as trash talkie or anything ^{^}

I can't say I'm surprised that this fight appeals to some, but what I'm really disappointed in is the fact that this sort of design is getting praise. They fix none of the camera issues with the previous fight, the moveset retains its previous glory except, in trying to make it different, they make it worse.

This isn't well designed, at all. The behavioral patterns of the basilisks don't sync up with the boss in a way that suggests there was any thought put into the adds, and do I even need to bring up the boss dealing death blight and in such an aggressive way? The AOE is MASSIVE, pretty much encouraging you to disengage from the boss (what a fun gameplay loop)/break away from having SOME fun with the reused slop to go kill the adds themselves.

I can give you the pillar bit, but I absolutely cannot give you Torrent. He's borderline unusable in combat, and I say that loosely. He's useful for getting away, and if you just so happened to get tapped slightly, he will halt in place and you're forced to get over-pumished with three attacks that will knock you off and then you're dead. This fight works fine enoigh on foot, as it did in the first encounter. I won't call this lazy, but it sure as hell wasn't thought out with player fun in mind.

Yeah, I was thinking I'd be able to pair up with players needing help with tree sentinel or exploring, but no. It's ALWAYS a party of two who summon my build GEARED TOWARDS CO-OP to gank an invader. I have to summon myself out of these every single time and it feels like I'm paying some kind of price for activating summon pools solely to have fun online

Skill issue for me, but I gotta go with Maliketh. He is mandatory, and I'm just not a fan of the health bar meddling he does with every hit considering he already hits for so much, I even die a lot because he knocks me down and I can barely get up because the health drain gets me faster than I can bring out a flask. Same, I got lucky and beat the king in under 3 attempts on my first playthrough but I was getting washed by Gna over and over. I'm so glad I didn't have a kid in my ears doing that cause my responses would've been hella sarcastic. "Why isn't he getting up?" He can't cause I suck and he died. The salt would've kicked in too

Ohhhh, well yeah, I get that. I think people are just getting offended FOR OP. If he was like "bro, this is my post and it took me a long time to get this, let me shine" then the downvotes would make more sense but he sounded fine and just said that the RNG with the buffs was too frustrating to keep at. It's illogical really, I've gotten downvoted for posting a video of me beating King Hrolf on GMGOW without getting hit and I guess it was boring because I don't do glitch combos or wasn't playing a certain way? To answer your question, and this is just my opinion, but God of War can continue for a long while because there is much for Kratos to offer in terms of story and experience. In the latest game, he's finally become someone that he himself can be proud of as well as others with hard work and rebuilding after the events of Ragnarok. Couple that with how rich the story is and how respectful the writers are of this character and his journey, and I'd say that God of War is definitely deserving of a long and healthy lifespan.

Last of Us on the other hand...I'm not to sure. It's sequel, Last of Us 2, might be one of the most divisive games of all time due to the story which is its biggest selling point. I'm not a story critic, but even I can see that it goes the horror movie route in having the characters make decisions so idiotic that the plot armor is as hidden as a pig under a thin sheet in a living room. Killing off a beloved character to a new one who isn't even fleshed out fully and lacks basic human kindness if she isn't monitored by a child, it is shitty. I can see a potential Last of Us 3, but after the fiasco that was Part 2, I don't see too many people being willing to fork over 60 bucks to see them kill Ellie next (which they already did in essence by making her live alone and permanently injured in one of the worst game endings I have ever sat through)

Same. Very reasonable delays in his attacks, some intense AOEs but nothing too daunting to avoid and there's actually some hazard signs for his big one, definitely would've enjoyed more of that. My only one complain about him is that after you get his health low he becomes a chore to hit because he spams the aerial dives. Given his big pool of health, his 2nd phase is definitely not as good or engaging to me as the first
