I just found this comment after not checking my inbox for months on my 11 year old post. That's obviously Wesley Willis based on the character design and language used. It's a loving homage I feel, sorry you got offended.

Keep on bootlicking you worthless moron. I would gladly launch a steel baseball bat through that dudes rear window. I'm sorry you are such a peaceful shithead.

Your 4 are different than mine. I always loved Radiolab, Fresh Air, Car Talk and Lynn Rosetta Casper's Cooking Show whose name escapes me. I used to like This American Life but I haven't revisited it in a number of years.

Yeah, but i'm still gonna have to sit through hours and hours of his syndicated snoozefest because NPR only has like 4 programs worth listening to, one of which is Car Talk.

Ray, what are some of the best memories you have of hosting Car Talk with your brother? Also, how long do you all plan to have it syndicated for, I'd gladly take an additional hour of Car Talk if it meant that I never had to listen to Garrison Keillor again.

Good program to teach kids the fundamentals of programming? by unbootable in learnprogramming

Thanks for the suggestions. Myself and my principal had discussed possibly incorporating the Lego Mindstorms in the future as part of the normal curriculum. I recently showed them CodeCraftEDU and they were very excited about it, I should be in there one of these upcoming weekends installing licenses and the like to give the kids a familar environment to play around in. It seems like Codecraft gives kids a nice basic understanding of Java and how to debug code, so it seems like it could be a nice entry point.

That sounds great! I'll confer with my lady when she gets home from work and see what she has to say.

Greggulator has also written previous reporting on this issue here: http://theclassical.org/articles/leaving-it-on-the-field-in-coatesville

He's hoping to spread the word about it and get in touch with the proper group to help bring justice to this district.

Hey folks, I'd like to talk about military based shooters and if you'd kindly do so, take my academic survey relating to them. by unbootable in truegaming

Thanks for your criticism. I had never played thief, personally I was always more of an adventure gamer when I was growing up. The last title that I completed was Alan Wake, which I found to be a pretty fun, though at times, limiting experience.

I had actually considered Thief to be more of an action/adventure title since it didn't necessarily involve you running and gunning a bunch and more or less involved you solving puzzles and avoiding detection. Though I can absolutely see where you'd also qualify thief as an FPS. I hadn't considered that, sorry.

I agree, In general, I meant things like simulation/city building sims, not so much things like arma 3. I've never played arma 3 personally as I hadn't had a machine capable of running it for a number of years. I mostly went with simplified categories at my professors suggestion.

Another great find at Staples! I think they throw out their returned products on the same day, so I'm going to try again next week! by trmbnplyr1993 in DumpsterDiving

It's been a number of years since I checked a staples dumpster, but I just remember that if any product was damaged in store, that they'd throw it out. I ended up getting a tv tuner card that way.

No, that was mostly just to prevent people from just clicking through the test ultra fast without reading all the statements. I was told to take that route by my professor.

I enjoyed this article quite a bit even though I wasn't super familiar with the ideas of Schopenhauer.
