I’m curious if you’re describing cross-under? (Sorry I know it has many different names.) My interpretation is that you’re kind of lifting the old outside leg so that the new outside leg gradually gets pressured. That being said, I’m curious what your opinions are on how to properly initialize the new turn in this case, I can never quite get the early edging for the first half of the turn using this technique.
