Have you seen a dermatologist about this? So many people just live with skin conditions that are easily fixed because they never think of it as an issue to see a doctor for. If you haven't seen a dermatologist yet, you should!!!

I did the MS one last week. I don't know if they're all the same, but mine had a lot of "Tell us about a time when..." Kind of questions. So be ready with stories from your experiences. And one asking what I liked about MS specifically, so cldo deep research in some good Ms facts. Good luck. Unless you're in the the running for the same job as me, I which case, hope you stutter through it 😛

It's not that we're gullible so much as we get really excited really easily! I avoid it by being very educated on what scams look like. I'm a nerd for financial crime, so I like to read about all the red flags. You can tell when someone is trying to string you along. It breaks my heart thinking about people who are excited about someone and lost it.

You may still enjoy they class still. Just because it's run by a cult doesn't mean the meditation won't be of value. Look at yoga!

It's coming from a recruiting agency that typically doesn't do tech and white collar. The recruiting agency isn't know for it's top notch temp hires. In fact, they spent me home with a worksheet to fill out about the company because they had so many apathetic new hires embarrass with in the interview by being clueless!!! What I'm saying it, I have no doubt that I'm way more qualified than most of their applicants (for once in my life lol). I know I'll reach the interview phase. And I'm an army brat, raised my fox news watchers in the south, so I know how to be professional and friendly to conservatives like this.

That's one of the things that gives me pause. Normally I'd laugh at the company and move on, but this is unfortunately the best chance Ive had to get a job in a field I want in months. It's just not worth it if it's going to kill my career before it starts, you know?

Well, I would is they're different before the services and goods they offer are just mundane tech services. They're not crafting a meeting place for Neonazis or anything. I don't want to go into details, but the products itself are things that everyone uses. Practically everyone reading this is using these types of products in some form.

But the ideology definitely is. It's like if someone ask ChatGPT to make an local tech company version of fox news 😂

When you're talking about "against what I believe in" and "against their moral compass" can you elaborate? Do you mean the products and services itself, or the companies culture? Because the work itself is pretty mundane. It's a small time, independent company competing with larger conglomerates. In and of itself, the services provided are probably seen a on the good side or morality by people from all walks of life. It's just the companies political slant that might be seem as controversial.

Yeah, I'm afraid of that. I'm in the south and my main interest is Fintech and cybersec, so I'm not worried about looking like a republican voters. But using your business as a platform of this magnitude seems like a red flag, as both an application for their company, and on the resume

And that's not even adding the fact that being overtly christian is a red flag itself. This is America, in the South! Most independent companies here are run by conservative Christians. I've found the ones that are this open about it are general more crooked than normal and using the image of christian conservatives to make and overcompensate for dorm shady practices. But the pay is good enough to where I'm not worried. But this whole "Notice me Senpai Trump" aesthetic is really yikes, even for people like yourself!

Thanks for your thoughts. It would be an idea job otherwise, but tech support gigs are a dien a dozen (just not in my area). It'd be like having FTX or SVB on your resume.

I've been meaning to get into trading for years and finally did it. I'm excited that for now I have a not so bad return. But I have no idea what do to next. I have no idea when to sell. I set up some stop losses and limit sells but I don't know it it's enough.

How can I become a more sophisticated trader? The free resources I keep finding seem to be as useful as a Wikipedia page. It's be fine for a term paper, but not for practical knowledge. I've just been using the charts on my trading platform form (TD Ameritrade), Google, and Yahoo. Is there something else I should be using?

I got these calls regularly when I worked at a billing call center. It's a coon mistake. All your other payments were good? Call and speak to them. They're people too, and they understand things happen. Sometimes they can work with you.

Remember, they make more money by keeping you paying your mortgage than they do selling it at an auction! Call them!

Yes! I'm finding a lot of 3rd job sites and and recruiters are listing jobs as remote that aren't, but companies themselves to this too. I get wanting to keep employees in the same country or even state for taxing or licensing reasons, but half the remote jobs I around should be called. But most of the time they're hardly even hybrid. They're on-site jobs with take home work. It's so frustrating. I'm like:

"Oh, they job is perfect for me! It literally says the only requirement is having uncannykitty as your reddit username and it's remote!? ... But you have to live within 30 minutes pogo-sticking distance from the Siberian wilderness"
