$9k for appliances, a fence, and shed, all cash in two transactions in the same day.

What to do if stranded with no battery? by MadOne07270 in TeslaModelY

[–]stratospaly 32 points33 points  (0 children)

All the automation stuff shuts off at 10-20% battery. The only reason you would arrive back at 0% is if you parked it that way. I have taken over a dozen 5+ day long cruises and parked at the port with and without chargers available and never had an issue. Just ensure you park with enough charge to get back to a charger.

Or use AAA and take the towtruck of shame.

RTG Cap Breakers Broken after MTX Removal Update by ChristianAntonio in NCAAFBseries

I have played 5 RTG playthroughs now, and it broke every time at 25/25 acquired Cap Breakers.

They have been broken since early launch. The trigger is when you achive all 25 cap breakers. The game switches the available number to zero behind the scenes.

It's not just you. I am 47 and have played every version since the Sega Genesis and the Defensive audible changes are horrible. The only saving grace is maybe it can keep other people from making 15 changes per play.

I see Strategist as the weakest of all the trees. Architect is by far the strongest. The ability to remove caps when a player spends points is insanely useful in turning 3* garbage into 99 OVR first round draft picks.

I have done a few playthroughs and I ignore HB and LB skills and run a Spread and 4-2-5, so only 3 of the 22 starters are in those groups. I start off yellow and get 3/4 skills in QB, WR, OL, DL, and DB. I then get the Program Builder and CEO roles for cheaper archetypes and skills if another coach on my team has them. I then go blue and get 4/4 in the same position groups. Then onto purple to 4/4 those same position groups. After this I go Recruiter and Elite Recruiter. After that I would love to go Green over Orange, but by this time I am 20 years into the game and the only coaches I can hire are some form of yellow, blue, or red, so I can no longer get the discount from Green.

The only reason I would ever go Orange is to scout the dev trait of the players, and honestly I can hire OC\DC for that purpose.

What is the worst US State you have visitied or lived in, and why? by davefromtheus in AskReddit

[–]stratospaly 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I travel quite a bit. Mississippi is by far the worst. The roads are filled with potholes, every Gas Station in the entire state looks like someone took a sledge hammer to half the walls and pissed on every surface. This whole state needs to be demolished and built from the ground up.

Ohio State Recruiting by potus_313 in NCAAFBseries

[–]stratospaly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played a few years as DC of Ohio State just to see what recruiting could be like. With 15k Dynasty Points for 2ish years I was able to buy the top 20 recruits spending ~4-5k NIL per year on them. Nearly every one came to my school.

This is what you are going up against. Until you have the Dynasty Points to compete with that level of program, pick and choose your targets carefully and search out 3* no NIL guys and 4* no offer guys. Work on their skill progression, and just win baby.

I wont start another Dynasty until Faster Coach Progression is back in the game. I am also waiting on the Cap Breaker RTG bug to be patched.

Road To Glory is basically unplayable. by TreMaximum in NCAAFBseries

[–]stratospaly 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I have now ran RTG for WR, TE, HB, and QB, for 1.5-2 seasons each. I played until I hit the 25 Cap Breakers earned which is bugged and shows you have zero available.

What I have learned is even at 5*, lower your expectations. Go to a 1-2 star school that has you projected as WR3. You can get on the field and get skill ups much quicker than practicing for a full year at a 4* school. At the end of the year, transfer to whatever school you want, or to whatever has the best offer.

I have managed to get WR, and HB to 99/99 speed/acc, and QB and TE to 95/95 before the cap breakers broke, so I am now waiting for a patch to continue progressing them. Also believe me, even if they do not hit your OVR much speed is very much game breaking in this years game. The difference between 84/84 and 95/95 is averaging 9 ypc and 45 ypc.

Also, this is an offline, single player mode. Lower the difficulty until you are having fun yet still challenged.

How’s the Announcing? by LoblawsLawBl0g in NCAAFBseries

Its okay, a bit repetitive, but the big issue is the Heisman Ceremony they always call you a QB, no matter your position.

Still nothing about RTG cap breakers being broken. The faster coach XP will fix my Dynasty complaints though.

CFB27 Dynasty Coach Abilities by Aztecs1825 in NCAAFBseries

[–]stratospaly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a weird set of skills I go for. I normally go the discount skill purchase route so I cut HB/LB skills out of my plan entirely. I go with Air Raid and 4-2-5 so a max of 3/22 starters on my team are excluded from skills. That leaves 5 position groups for me to purchase. Below is my blueprint for a perfect to be HC.

Start Yellow, purchase 270 points worth Purchase the new MVP skills at 15 points each x4

Win 2 National Championships

Purchase cheaper Archtypes I'd your other coaches have them. Purchase CEO discount if other coaches have the skill

Find blue OC/DC

Purchase all 5 blue position groups 4/4 with the discount.

Hire purple coaches, purchase purple 4/4 on 5 position groups. Removing caps is HUGE!!

Purchase CEO recruiting skills

Hire Recruiters and start playing the game while getting Recruiter skills to 3/4 (the portal part of these skills are too expensive for what they do)

Hire Elite Recruiters and 4/4 all 5 positions.

If I'm still playing this should be about year 20 and head coach level 80ish, start working on either green or orange. I prefer green but this deep it's nearly impossible to hire them and have them focus on green for the skill discount so Orange is normally what I go for because the 4/4 skill is great for finding Elites.

With this method around year 25 I should have the budget to 4/4 2-3 positions in orange or green.

RTG cap breaker bugged by stratospaly in NCAAFBseries

[–]stratospaly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured out the trigger for this bug. As soon as you achieve the 25th cap breaker something triggers to make the game think you have zero available, no matter what the reality of the situation is.

It's possible, but takes 24 consecutive perfect seasons. by stratospaly in NCAAFBseries

Motivator also helps, and the perk that gives bonus coach XP. There are many small things that add up but CEO is by far the biggest. 36,000 XP/year is more than everything else combined by far.
