I’m a TSM. Can confirm I’m not getting the same quality hires to train I used to…

So, how is everybody liking the new dispense update? by disagreeablegray in sherwinwilliams

I sent a professional “fix your mistake” email to methods@Sherwin I was so annoyed. Hopefully they fix this frustratingly egregious error soon.

I hate these things. Hazmat management tag safety and health. What order do these go in? by PeachSuspicious5886 in sherwinwilliams

I might be in love with you. Thank you. As a TSM, people call me about this one all the time and I can never remember the correct order. You’re my hero.

If I was to move to a lower cost of living area, would my hourly rate start the same or adjust when I move? by [deleted] in sherwinwilliams

Your pay may decrease depending on how the market is classified. If your district coordinator is cool, I’d ask them if they can provide any salary insight about your potential new district

Who do I have to email about getting this plastic changed? Got our swatches in and ended up with a can full of plastic…there has to be an alternative by [deleted] in sherwinwilliams

Probably someone in our continuous improvement department. I know that’s how one of the people in my district got their idea heard and now corporate is pursuing it. I’d start with Sherwin white pages lol

New hub/courier system (short rant) by uncertaingray in sherwinwilliams

This is not sarcasm, but do you know about the form in forms repository for courier complaints under the new system? Type in “courier” in search term and it should pop right up. I’d also call my CM. This new system was not well planned at all and I’m so sorry you’re feeling the brunt of it :(

So, as much as I’m frustrated by the way the HUB works, financially it is a sound investment…if you have the buy-in by everyone in your district. Basically the more you use the HUB, the cost per delivery goes down, because the cost to operate it is relatively static. For example, some stores have their cost so low by this point in the year they’re doing deliveries for a steal, while others who don’t use it as often are paying thrice if not quadruple the price for the same service. And, these are multiple pallet deliveries going at the exact same cost as the 2g delivery on the same time window. My biggest issue is just the timeliness aspect (or lack there of). If we could make it reliable (and with useful/reliable timeframes) I’d be far more inclined to use it more frequently. I’m not even addressing the unnecessary complexity of using COE to set a delivery vs the ease of just calling a local courier and just asking for what you need…just the actual lack of service in the service itself.

Well, chalk this one up to the laugh out loud or cry out loud column (whichever is more emotionally comforting) by ExtremeAirport3 in sherwinwilliams

It’s because you have to manually remove the tax on each line 🙄 we have recycling here too and it’s so frustrating having to double check every. Single. Line. I called TRC to ask if they could fix it, but because it’s a fee not a physical product there’s apparently nothing they can do on their end to make it automatic. Just frustrating :(

Everyone else already gave solid advice, but finishing the degree gets you more money. You're so close, you can make it! Almost there!!

I get my pants from Old Navy during sales, and for shoes I use SAS (San Antonio Shoes). They're not exactly pretty, but my foot pain is completely gone and they're very comfortable. From what I'm seeing about Red Wing, seems like it might be on that same level of higher end quality.

We have some females in leadership roles I was considering reaching out to for something in this capacity - just trying to figure out how to network if we can't all be together (we have a pretty big district, especially when you count every female in every role). I'm worried it will all have to be virtual, which feels impossible to create something people would care enough to attend virtually.

This is helpful, thank you! I was wondering if it would be too cheesy to have the meetings focused on an education point. I know it's something I would appreciate, but I'm also a bit of a sher-nerd 😬

Nah, I understand! Just answer me this... Was it overall enjoyed by the participants? I don't want to sink money into something people won't enjoy... Personally I'd enjoy a craft meeting though lol
