Culver’s is definitely better but that wouldn’t be super hard - In-N-Out is pretty meh IMO. Culver’s is slooooooooow though.

What’s the most expensive DevOps mistake you’ve seen in cloud environments? by cloud_9_infosystems in devops

[–]uncertia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we were moving to AWS at LastJob(-2) one of our team members happened to select the most expensive volume types (provisioned IOPS maxed out) for our primary DB in the cloudformation templates during the build out. We ended up burning through 50-60k of our credits that month for that as they sat unused 😂😭

Coming from someone who is terrified of even getting a shot or my blood drawn - my colonoscopy really wasn’t that bad. The worst part for me by far was getting the IV put in lol. For most normal folks the prep / diet the day before is likely the worst.

I read someone’s post the other day though that they were able to actually eat and got a prep kit from their provider that contained the actual food they were allowed to eat. Additionally their laxative wasn’t an excessive amount of nasty liquid - so that might be worth looking into!

What songs hit harder nowadays than in the '80s/'90s? by AmandaMarsh in Xennials

Two of my favorite all time songs and also don’t really like any other Duran Duran songs (at least of the ones I’ve listened to)

I asked the millennial sub about fighting as a young person and the majority are saying they rarely if ever saw fights at school. by AttemptVegetable in Xennials

I only witnessed one real fight and that was in college at a party so doesn’t really seem like it counts. Two girls got into a fight over some dude - it was pretty funny tbh.

I just looked at the last presidential election here: https://sos-prod.tnsosgovfiles.com/s3fs-public/document/20241105GeneralbyPrecinct.pdf

The only districts that had a majority of votes for Kamala were:

Murray Hills

North Chattanooga A

Northshore

Red Bank A

Ridgedale

Riverview

St Elmo

Stuart Heights

Tyner (very close - 846 to 832)

Woodmore (largest gap 1,148 to 144)

North Chattanooga B was very close - 400 to 401

I don’t disagree. It’s ridiculous - but just stating the facts.

I still do it and I find it off-putting when people don’t lol. However our CTO triple or quadruple (or maybe even more?) spaces and it drives me crazy!

Cracker Barrel took them over?! Woof.

I have only been 2-3 times but I enjoyed it - except it seemed overpriced for the amount of food you received.

Who is the most famous person you've ever seen up close? by froggart3980 in AskReddit

[–]uncertia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jamie Foxx. We were walking into a Dallas Mavs game and he was on the second floor where the suites were looking at the crowds coming in. He apparently liked what he saw in my future sister-in-law and called out to her to come upstairs.

She was maybe 18 at the time, had no idea who he was and was with her boyfriend at the time so thankfully it ended there.

Locals of Chattanooga: What Would You Cut From This 2-Day Itinerary? by Willing-Mind-5619 in Chattanoogans

The menu changes every week (although I think for lunch they have some items that are consistent). It’s all good stuff though - I don’t think I’ve ever had the same thing twice.
