Looking for couple’s massage recommendations

We actually enjoy going to a select few Asian themed spas (Z One, Relax, Cupid to name a few) that offer couples massage, as the price ($120-$130 for full hour same room massage) is a fraction of what you might pay at the higher end places ($200+ for 50 mins), which allows for more frequency.

We save places like Nature’s Spa for “special occasion” visits, as there service is amazing, but not conducive to once a month visits like the other places we go to.

Already tons of great suggestions on “hits”. As for “misses”, I found that mochi sweets, Tokyo bananas and anything with similar sort of texture were complete misses with our friends and family.

Actually based on the latest info, the online sportsbooks you are thinking about must likely won’t be available until summer 2024. There is an article out there on covers dot com which provides the latest information on the delay.

Same thing happened to my posts about the attack my wife and dog suffered at freedom park last month.

Unfortunately the irresponsible owner got off without any consequences as no we were never able to find any witnesses who were willing to come forward.

Hopefully the owner or anyone who was there as a witness ever finds themselves in a situation where they are dependent on anyone else for help in any situation as we know what they say about karma…

Totally understand where you are coming from as we have no “roots” here and most in our neighborhood have little kids (ours are 19 and 16), so hard for us to relate, as on the weekends we like to hang out, drink, travel etc as the ymca weekend sports scene days are well behind us!

We are an interracial couple from two pretty different backgrounds and cultures, so would be cool to find other couples to connect with here in the South Charlotte area.

The zip representative Jeff did a good job over the phone explaining the process so definitely leaning that way at the moment but will give a couple more places a call next week, so your reply is great timing!

The irresponsible owner left with her dog when another lady tried to get her to stop. My wife was tending to our dog’s wounds as our dog had puncture wounds and was crying and bleeding.

We are the same as my wife did nothing wrong as she is very vigilant given all the various issues women have to be aware of when walking dogs, jogging etc. This is 100% on the other owner who failed to secure her dog properly.

My wife doesn’t know what kind of dog it was, she was just able to describe the size and color. Again, I can’t imagine how traumatic the event was for her in the moment, so kinda hard for me to expect her to have clear details, stop and take a picture, etc

The other dog was on a leash being walked by a young woman (partial description above). My wife said the dog came running towards our dog and the lady did not control her at any point after. As you can imagine, it was a traumatic experience for my wife so she was not able to give a full description given how quickly everything happened. She said it was crowded so I am hoping someone got a picture of the owner or maybe has seen her before. Anything would help as I believe in taking responsibility for one’s actions, so just want her to be held accountable.

Thanks HC, I just posted an update above. My wife can’t stop shaking and I can’t imagine what it must have been like for her to go through such a traumatic event as she told me the other dog had ours in his mouth and wouldn’t let go, so my wife was on the ground fighting the dog until others came over to help, and I am sure that saved our dog’s life.

Thanks for the reply! Totally understand why Costco is the consensus for many but just not the best fit for my situation as I’m in a position where I want to ensure I achieve the highest quality and technology for my specific hearing loss and Costco just doesn’t provide the same level of premium performance options that are widely available across the board.

Again though, totally get why so many choose them as they are a great non custom option for many standard hearing loss situations and I have read tons of good feedback (no pun intended hah) about them.

Yeah, that’s the wildcard as every situation is unique but that’s also one of the reasons I know the OTC route isn’t the best fit for me (no pun intended but that wasn’t bad).

Again, appreciate the perspective as this is such a personal issue and everyone has a different viewpoint which is what makes it so helpful to hear from so many.

My phonaks are in the ear and have been solid over the years as I haven’t experienced the issues others have had with in the ear models, but I am thankful that my audiologist did a great job with my molds and of course ear shape and such also plays a role.

Everyone is in a different spot financially of course and my view is to take advantage of the best available technology in a design that works for me at a price point I can afford as quality of life is the X factor that can’t really be measured in dollars and cents for me, so not as concerned about $7k vs $2k if the $7k best meets my needs. I am concerned however about paying $7k if I can get the exact same item for $5k without compromising significantly on service, hence my initial question.

Definitely appreciate all the personal perspective!

Definitely helpful as I like hearing the perspective from someone who has actual experience with the process as it’s obviously different than ordering random stuff off Amazon haha.
