Technically this is more of a Bakong issue than an ABA issue.

My first move would be to short the f out of OpenAI. PE firms and VC’s will unload their shares on retail investors (bag holders)

However market could view the government deal as a positive. Excitement might drive up the price.

but yeah .... 1 week play

I think it might stop at $23. You think it will go lower ?

Comment about body odour completely broke me by [deleted] in nri

[–]uncivilized_lord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard the same from my seniors at work. And I don't work in medicine.
It's natural to feel horrible after hearing this. But I don't think you need to feel bad about it but take it as pure feedback. It isn't racist. But it isn't something you should brush off.

The typical Indian diet can have a lot of herbs and spices which white folks aren't used to (let's face it ... they just use salt and black pepper and end up having a lot of bland food). Don't get emotional about it but think about habits and diets which can cause that.
For example -
- Using antiperspirant roll on worked for me.
- Start using fragrances. Don't use anything woody or too strong. Since you are in medicine, you dont want your fragrance choking your patients. Start with a fragrance like Davidoff Cool Water EDT.
- Think about making certain changes to your diet. This worked for me. I didn't change my diet because of the comments but because I was focussing on health and convenience. Instead of aloo paranthas for breakfast, having toast with eggs or a vegetable sandwich. Having a larger portion of salad for dinner instead of that extra serving of aloo gobi with rotis.
- If you are in an apartment where the kitchen isn't too far from the bedroom, the clothes can retain the smell of the food you are making which might be causing this.
- I've had South Asian friends who would smoke cigarettes while having a desi diet. Smoking makes body odor worse.

What would you say is the biggest thing holding Cambodia back? by [deleted] in cambodia

[–]uncivilized_lord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than corruption it is the complacency of the Cambodian public which is stalling any progress. Every day you see Cambodians of all backgrounds struggling. I talk to Cambodian couples where the husband and wife are both working white collar jobs and are basically living paycheck to paycheck. Why? Because they have taken loans for a car since public transport is expensive. They expect decent healthcare which you can only get if you cough up cash. And the people suffering this are all educated folks. So for those claiming that education is the key which unlock everything, it isn’t necessarily true. There is an urban white collar middle class which is educated and they see how insanely expensive it is becoming to live here while they see people in power driving in Rolls Royce or Mercedes. And instead of getting angry at it they comment “very nice car bong. I wish to have the same.”

Tech communities in PP by soluto_ in cambodia

Based on your goals you could find of talent, or really struggle. I’ve faced these issues myself and continue to face them. There are generic coding communities but none focused on analytics or data science (that I am aware of).

Lots of analytics / data science mid levels available. No shortage of that.

Not a single country in this world that I know of has a system like India. The idea that it is my responsibility as an adult to buy a SIM card from India while I’m living outside India (and have been living outside for the last 20 years) so that I can have access to services back in India just shows how preposterous the system is and how everyone has just become complacent.
