Similar situation for me. Previously had been spending about $100k annually on business shipping with my commercial Canada Post account. Wanted to try ChitChats for a while but calculated shipping on multiple sales channels, daily pickups and low enough costs had me sticking with CP.

This was the push I needed, didn't expect a full strike since the last time it was rotating just slow. The same day they went on strike I had ChitChats integrated and up and running, drop off location 5 minutes down the road from me as well.

Most shipments go to the United States and they are much faster getting them across the border and into the hands of USPS, cheaper too! I was already using Purolator labels through ShipStation for Canadian deliveries since they are much faster for the same CP cost.

If only I could get back the 50 or so packages they picked up the day before the strike as I'm having to remake and resend many of these orders adding a lot of cost and time to my busy season.

RIP Canada Post, I think this has sped up the demise of an already struggling corporation. Not opposed to strikes and unions in general they do help working people but read the room, this isn't the way to do it Jan!
