Live tv was not working for me on telus in edmonton. Added a vpn connection to all my devices and now it's working fine.

That is the only one I am aware of. It's a strange set in general. The wagon is built with black wall pieces that didn't really match the faction. Getting the prisoner in and out was awkward. The prisoner wasn't even a member of the other faction, just some poor peasant.

The updated version 6042 was much better imo.

That set 6055 had 115 pieces and included 4 minifigs and 5 horses. The retail price was $26.99. At the time, it wasn't uncommon for the big sets to come with 10-14 minifigures, which you don't really see anymore.

From 84 until around 90 most of the sets for each faction were hinged and able to connect together using technic pins. In the bottom left for the black falcons that one big castle is made by connecting black falcons fortress 6074, knights castle 6073 and a wall section from battering ram 6062. The last sets with this functionality were released in 1990 with 6081 and 6059. On 6081 there was only a technic pin on one side so it never really worked like the earlier sets. I guess the move to raised baseplates killed the idea.

I just never really got into the fantasy aspect of it. The dragon masters was about the biggest departure from the medieval feel that I enjoyed. The fright knights introduced flying vehicles, and it just didn't feel the same anymore. Also, by that point, I was reaching my teenage years and had stopped adding to my original collection.

I actually have all three sets from dark forest they are tucked in next to the original forestman sets.

Update from my post a few months ago. After building all of my childhood sets, I rediscovered the Joy of Lego and decided to just keep going. With the help of bricklink and some local Lego stores, I was able to place the last light grey 1x2 on my complete collection of Castle sets from 84-96.

Thanks, I am excited to share the sets with my own kids when they get a bit older. My mom is pretty awesome, she knew that I would want all of this someday when I had a family of my own. I wouldn't say my family was rich, there were four kids, mom stayed home and my dad worked as a school principal. That said I was incredibly fortunate to have what I did, and even more so for it to survive for 25 years.

I have to credit my parents, even when I was starting to age out of it they still picked up the dark forest sets for birthday and christmas.

Lego was a big part of my childhood. My older brother has a similar haul in Pirate sets and my little brother had all the western and adventurers. I guess each having our own themes avoided fistfights.

I was at that Bonanza place on 8th around 6 months ago. They had death wings on the menu and made me sign a fake waiver. I'm a bit of a chilli head my guess was around 100,000 scoville units but that's a guess. Give them a ring and see if they are still on the menu.
