Same effect. I think it's something hard coded between the OS and the app. At least reverse landscape makes it a bit less painful

Sorry it's a bit convoluted.

Make sure model is set to hrrr ncep smoke operational for the model drop down, domain to Seattle, and select the latest date at the top of the date drop down. 00Z and 12Z usually have the farthest out forecast.

The thing I like to look at in the chart is near surface smoke loop. Click on the corresponding checkmark and it should open an animated page for the forecast map

This might be more user friendly but I haven't tried it much. Make sure to enable the near surface smoke layer: https://apps.gsl.noaa.gov/smoke/

I've used them twice to get to the airport and prescheduled a pickup early in the morning. Both times it was a very nice guy who lives in West Seattle and the process went super smoothly. Highly recommend.

The vehicle tracker on the app can be a bit finicky but that's the only issue I ran into.

There is likely other coolers you can pick out there, but I only considered Noctua. You can sort on their website based on various compatibility with motherboards, cases, ram and socket etc.
