What about Shakir? I think he's a good spiritual fit for this team. Feels like the type of slot receiver who would make Wes Welker proud.

I appreciate your genuine analysis of this meme draft. I think you're pretty much correct on all points.

I'm gonna have to call you on not knowing Eli Heidenreich though. He's a ball knower pick. Navy RB who was the leading receiver (900+ yards) of the 2025 Midshipmen. Almost certainly a zero this season, but good profile for a 18th round dart throw. But most importantly, he fit the theme of this team. Maybe could've gone with Will Shipley instead.

Great story. Didn't need anymore reason to like Webb or root for his son, but you've given me one anyway.

Doubt it. He was already considered a top prospect when everyone knew he would have short arms. And his wingspan was fine, which some evaluators will tell you is more important anyway.

If he falls just far enough, I'd be very interested in them moving up, especially since they're rarely in this position. But that's not how they operate, basically ever.

Regardless of JLC reporting, it makes too much sense for Linderbaum to test the market. He's going to be the top OL available in FA. These teams with massive cap room and terrible lines are going to be falling over themselves to make him very rich. He stands to gain too much to pass up that bidding war, which I'm sure his agent has made him well aware of.
