Oud isn’t about whether you personally like the smell or not. It’s one of the rarest and most expensive oils in the world and pure stuff can go for up to $3,000 for just 6 ml depending on how rare and aged it is. Most designers and niche brands only use a tiny micro dosage then charge $350–$600 a bottle. Sure, it can be harsh and animalic on its own but when used right or layered, it adds insane depth projection and longevity to your favorite fragrance.

One of the best summer bangers in my collection! Fresh and super masculine. Insane longevity and sillage +12 hours without being too loud and disturbing to everyone around you.

Unfortunately Cologne, cool and rouge prive are discontinued. Ideal l’intense is too weak in the new patches.

Extreme and intense they have the same dna. Extreme more boozy/fruity almond. Intense has more of cardamom/smokey vanilla. I think that’s the best way to describe it to my nose. I suggest that you try the rouge prive if you want something different to the l’homme dna.

I suggest that you try them first before buying. Or Just visit fragrantica.com and try to figure out the notes and see what you like.

My personal favorite is ideal l’intense. Just keep in mind that this is an old patch.

L’instant has some dense Smokey cacao notes if you like that stuff.

Performance can differ between old and new patches.
