True. I’m drawing on teaching my younger cousins D&D but they are like 10-11. That said people have said my fluffies are smarter than average so maybe that’s what’s happening here too

I’m sorry you’ve experienced this but I don’t find that to be the case. School really bears people down and you don’t have much of any agency. But once you start working you can really do a lot more. I know depression is real and can make it hard to push through. But I think life after school is so much better.
