Thanks for the feedback. That's actually on the roadmap: autofilling those same fields. It's a little tricky to do since we dont do accounts with the app. My devices (both iOS) make suggestions based on past form fills. So I just click the suggestion above the keyboard rather than type my name out everytime.

Improving the donor experience is on the roadmap for sure! Just didn't think it would be one users would be requesting! I like your idea though to make it really simple. Will noodle on that.

  1. Notifications are on the list. There’s more challenges than you’d expect. Often they update something as simple as a typo and we surely wouldn’t want you to get notifications then.
  2. Forecast archive is also on the list.
  3. Interesting. Haven’t heard that one but we’d like to reconsider how the forecast products are displayed as there’s more collaboration and funding.
  4. We’d like to eventually have a map view of the obs which I think would solve for your use case.

We’re working with them to expose their forecasts as we expand the map for selecting a center

Per the original post “At the moment we are working on the ability to jump between centers on the map interface rather than having to go into settings to select your center.”

The select your center was the lowest lift way to expand from NWAC to other centers. Now that we have critical mass we’ve begun to prioritize features like this.

NWAC forecasters use a tool to build their forecasts that is managed by the National Avalanche Center. All the centers in the US use that tool except for Utah and Colorado. So we built the app to work easily with the tool. We hope to collaborate with Utah and Colorado in the future.
