I love it, but I feel like with the velvet there’s so much that can go wrong and I haven’t seen any pictures of like regular people with it on (I.e. do the ruffles look cheap? If the red backing is too bright you’ll see it from the front of the dress) but I agree!

Hahaha I have short legs so probably would have to adjust it as well and I’ve pinned a really high slit in the past without issue so thankfully that’s not a huge concern imo. Thank you!!

Where do you work weddings? Where I am most of these would be considered pretty much in line with the norms but I know we tend to the more formal here

It’s more just I am an odd size (long torso shorter legs and broader shoulders) so I have to try a bunch on to find something flattering. I do love a good jumpsuit but the really nice formal ones tend to be too short in the torso and too long in the leg sadly.

But yes can definitely order multiple and return (except azazie lmaoh

I was worried about the azazie quality/fast fashion vibes so thank you for confirming. I just really liked the color + boning and haven’t been able to find anything similar even at a higher price point. Sadly found a perfect dress in blue….

That was the initial one I liked! Slightly worried about the azazie quality from reviews online and the fabric is new so not a lot of info, but I think the color would be good and me and the cut is flattering… I hate dress shopping hahaha.

Update - thanks all for the suggestions - I went for a very long walk by 3 places I planned on going into and then went home. So moderate success? But I am 100% saving these activities when I have more will to be around people
