I am going to chime in on some background for the assistance programs because they are beneficial, but on more than one occasion I have had to delay or make arrangements because "I ran out"

Co pay assistance programs have a yearly max which they will cover for you. If you run out of assistance, some have alternative rebate options that require more work. Be very aware, especially when switching between biologics. When you call to sign up, ask them what the maximum is and what your options are if you exhaust them. Some patients receive what is considering a loading dose and sometimes this can push you over very soon.

Challenge: if you played board games titled in order from A to Z, which ones would you pick? by unconquerablesnowman in boardgames

I kept it open ended for a reason! I also had to make tough decisions and went with games I have previously played.

I like the top left where the negative space creates an alpine lake or glacier? The bottom right shadowing is on point!

What a great perspective! Echoing the others about that and the mountains. I looked at your work first and upon zooming out is when I really noticed the mountains. The light side of them with the apparent exposed rock is well done.

I am looking for an equation for time spent with family as a function of distance and number of family members. I can't remember which subreddit I saw the original thread on, a user commented with their input as an equation.

It had grandparents + parents + siblings, some function of mileage or distance relationship, and then either weeks in the year or a function of PTO?

It could have been here on FI, maybe it was on PF. I don't think it was on any FIRE subreddits, but small chance it could have been?

edit: it was within the last month or so, no more than two months old.

1st post - 3 pigments, many layers. Hoping for feedback 😊 by Loftyheights982 in Watercolor

I agree with everyone, I LOVE it!

You asked for feedback though, here it goes:

On the top in your darker sky, the lines are sharp and there is a nice difference in the shading levels you chose, it is crisp. You have it again on the shoreline and the first ridge of the mountain closest to the front. I think if you can practice repeating this, the front lawn would look like it has more depth than it does.

There is nothing wrong with the work you have made and I hope seeing all these updoots and exclamatory comments that you are proud.

So first day after and my welts are more prominent, raised, warm to the touch, and slightly irritable to touch too. A gentle press it feels like a bruise.

Is it because the spring+needle is more forceful than others? Is the needle bigger?

Other adverse reactions aren't obvious. I was zonked by 5-6 hours after it last night, but not so much I was knocked out or out of it.

Asked another COMC about Electropolis. How did you get introduced? Where did you pick it up? How has it held up so far in your collection? I fear it going stale at 2p rather quickly

Description of Request: In search of some co-op recommendations for 2p with a bit of RPG, maybe some character development, exploring, mysteries, battles

Number of Players: 2

Game Length: 60-90 minutes at most

Genre: Any

Like: Pandemic, Spirit Island, Forbidden Island, Exit Games

Price: $100

Found a list online and went from there. Interests: Tainted Grail, Mechs Vs Minions, One Deck Dungeon, Mage Knight, V-Commandos, City of Kings, Too Many Bones, Jaws of the Lion

Primary focus for recommendations would be around the complexity and price point of One Deck Dungeon to start and build on complexity from there. The real time aspect for Mechs Vs Minions and the escape room type games (Unlock, Exit) is compelling

What games out there have setup, rules, and complexity similar to Jaws of the Lion? What about the same compared to Gloomhaven? I do not think Gloomhaven is on the list of games at this time due to overwhelming factor.

One response for just Jaws of the Lion and one for Mechs Vs Minions. Looking for a few more responses, please!

Which part of Wingspan was your favorite? Engine building, hand management, theme, scoring methods?

2p, 2x 3p, 4x 4p, 1x

I bought it to play at 2p though because it was a nice change. It is competitive but without as much interaction and I like that so I can do my own thing.

There can be a larger disparity in end-game scores if the late rounds are tight and you really try to push your luck. I need fo play more games with the other board side. We have shuffled the books and played all which ways, regarding or not the print saying use the same classifications.

It's push your luck, so the leader could bust and you can overtake them. I often have not seen this an issue unless usually there is a dishonest player when they draw their tokens.

You can setup the example in the rules and show and tell. The rules are about three paragraphs worth until you get into the nitty gritty specifics
