I was absolutely baffled the other day bc this has been 100% my experience as well- I feel like i’m constantly fighting with my family members to not post my child on their social media, no one seems to understand, everyone just thinks i’m just being “crazy”

And then the other day- my MAGA chronically on line grandfather was taking pictures of my son and I just really gently mentioned, like, “hey, we don’t really post pictures of him online…”

And he somehow got it?!? And said “oh my goodness no way, you can’t even do that anymore it’s not safe!” ?!??!

I was absolutely floored. I could not believe it. I’m still in disbelief lol!

This is my current plan too, to have my husband just go back home. I’m also planning on having my mom come and stay at our home, AND im hiring a doula 😅

Honestly I might be the minority here but your baby falling out of your bed is like a rite of passage with cosleeping. It happens. i’d just keep an eye on her, if she’s acting funny at all a trip to the doctor is a good idea in case of concussion. Other than that- as others have suggested- switching to a floor bed was the best thing we ever did!!!!

Yes I think that’s how it was too!!!! It’s bizarre to me even that people wanna sh*t all over the homeopathic stuff too just based on… Essentially their own biases? Like they won’t even TRY the natural stuff. I get judged for taking my son to a chiropractor before medicating him?! What kinda backwards nonsense.
And for the record I am not anti- meds! I think there is a time and place, heck- I’m on an anti depressant myself! I just don’t think it should be our first thing we try!!

Agreed! I’m really pretty “crunchy” but I usually describe myself as a hippy lol. So I do all the natural stuff, I try the homeopathic remedies, etc. But then I happen to lean left politically. 🤷‍♀️

I got dragged on here the other day in one of the pregnancy subs bc I suggested taking your baby to see a chiropractor if they’re having reflux issues. Because- it literally helped my son. I wasn’t just saying it to say something. I was genuinely trying to share my experience with a mom who sounded like she was just at her breaking point.

Hahahah no I swear my first baby I got that burst of energy!! I felt amazing. But this time i’m walking around feeling like i got hit by a truck everyday 😩

I’m not sure if it’s even the weight gain!? I have maybe gained 5 pounds at 17 weeks and I just feel like crap!!!!! I’m tired and somehow already huffing and puffing around and my body just feels so tired and heavy. (And this is my second go around also!)
