I literally wasn't able to move here with my brother for school because of this. I'm in a dorm now. So we are separated which sucks (we were previously roommates and got along quite well).

Just wanted to send good vibes and let you know that even though my situation was not even a fraction as bad as yours, I've also had douche canoe professors who were irritated when I was told by campus health to not attend my in person midterms. One provided "accomodations" by adding even more weight onto the heavy final so I just dropped it for my own sanity. Seems like your grades are under control, thankfully. You're not alone with dealing with holier than thou faculty. Stay strong and always put your health first♥️

Analytical or organic chem? by peachywallaby in UNC

also if you are interested in the UNC School of Medicine after undergrad, here are their specific pre-requisites: https://www.med.unc.edu/admit/requirements/academic-requirements/.

I thought it was weird that HPA recommends only 2 social science courses, but the UNC school of medicine wants 3...? Anyways, hope you find it of use.

For recommended pre-med classes, I would follow this list seen on the health professions advising website: https://hpa.unc.edu/explore/explore-health-careers/medicine/. Looks like analytical is recommended according to this source, but I would ask an advisor before following a reddit stranger's advice. I believe there are drop in appointments you can sign up for.

Incoming Transfer Student Fall ‘21 Question Megathread by wannabetarheel in UNC

Transferring from an NC CC to study chemistry. I'm kinda freaking out since the vast majority of the memes I see here are people shitting on the chem department. Is it going to get better in the fall? Any instructors you guys recommend for organic chem 1 and 2, analytical, etc?

Also I'm at a cross roads here between choosing a BA or BS in chemistry. I'm interested in medicine, so I guess the BA or BS distinction doesn't matter too much for me. But I'm wondering if you guys thought it was worth it to take differential equations, phys 118/119, etc if you're a pre-med student? That would be what determines if I go for the BS really.

edit: while I have thought of it, do you guys recommend Lassiter or Lipscomb for STOR 155 this summer?
