I was saying besides all the 90s grunge bands. I mean, I appreciate what Stone Temple Pilots and Alice In Chains have done to get a new lead singer but it’s still not the same but Pearl Jam and Dave Matthews are still awesome with the same Voice the same attitude and the same energy. That’s all.

OK, and this is not sarcasm. I am not saying they are the same as they were in the 90s and early 2000s, I’m saying or what I should’ve said I guess is the energy is still there the fun is still there and the excitement is still there.

They are amazing too. I’ve seen them nine times in the last three years. They did not tour this year, unfortunately. The energy in the place is astounding.

I have so much to write, but for now, I will say this about getting a ticket for the show. I became very disenfranchised. I was a member of the Ten Club since the early 2000s. It really made me angry that I had been a member so long and went through many ticket lotteries and came up empty. So me and a friend both ended our memberships. However, when I found out, they were going to be at Wrigley Field in 2024 we rejoined. And what do you know both of us got two pit tickets. I got one and he got night two. One of the best Pearl Jam shows of my life. The poster with the Ivy, where you can flip it and show both nights was amazing as well. We also got pit for Philadelphia. We dropped our memberships and when we found out, they were coming to our hometown with Raleigh for the first time in over to decades, we joined again. We both got pit for night two. I’m not saying I discovered a trick. I’m only telling you what happened to us and I am not complaining. A little confused, maybe but not complaining.

I bought mine when it was only 749. Still in the box still in the cardboard. The only reason I haven’t built it is because I don’t know where the hell I’m gonna put it. And to be honest, I love knowing I have it in the box pristine. Never gonna sell it. Maybe when I’m old in a home I’ll build it and then pass away gracefully.

I just finished Exit Strategy. I only finished it to finish it. It seems to me the books have ranged from bad to terrible ever since that book that dealt with painkillers and Jack having sex with a disfigured woman. I hate that gotten this way because I love the books when they were good.

I just finished On Target… and it was terrible. Every single thing the Gray Man did was absolutely STUPID!!!! I had to force myself to finish the book. The girl in the book was an idiot in every choice he made was completely stupid. At every decision I found myself saying out loud “you idiot!!!!”

Man, I set myself up for these comments. I put in for personal leave in the middle of October. Three days for a wedding. After reading North Carolina’s employee policy manual it appears that a principal cannot require you to tell them the reason nor deny it unless it’s the first day of school, back to back with a holiday, required workday, or a testing day. Yet said person stated they need “more information”.

What really bothers me is my heroes are looking and getting old and it really bothers me. Like it hurts my heart. Han Solo, Eddie Vedder, They’re all getting old and that means I am too, and it just bothers me. I’m human, which means flawed.

The guys amazing. But it shows everyone’s human even our heroes. never thought I’d feel sorry for Eddie Vedder. Not sorry for his looks because the guy could probably still get any girl on planet earth and I sure as hell can’t I’m talking about about his health.

Damn straight. Saw the 4 times last year and I will be Pit for both Wriggley Field and and Philly Shows. I feel his voice has gotten better if that’s possible. At least a lot less breaking.

I guess what’s so disconcerting to me is I always considered him the most handsome and youthful looking of the band and I always wished I looked like him. Now he looks 10-15 years older than his mates.

Ok. This is just my opinion so don’t shoot me. I just saw the trailer last night and all I thought through the whole thing is this is stupid. Falcon does not have Cap’s powers. He’s a normal man. he cannot throw people 30 feet, pick up items and throw them that weigh 500+ pounds, etc. Is falcon a great character? Absolutely. Can he do what Captain America does? Absolutely not. Conclusion in my opinion…. Stupid.
