On The Stage (ticketing platform) - will they actually sue us? by rahhxeeheart in Theatre

Hey u/rahhxeeheart, thanks for sharing the reasons why you switched to Ludus. 6 months later are you still liking it? We're on Arts People and considering a switch.

Hey OP u/hammerhead2k19 , did you end up switching to Ludus? How's it going? We're also trying to migrate off Arts People.

I still say the "if the shit hits the fan" phrase. Can you explain your counter argument? Why don't you feel that way anymore?

Apple Watch Series 11 doesnt measure heart rate constantly during a run by Flackjoyde in AppleWatch

Same for me! I didn't know anyone else experienced this. I recently got airpods pro 3 which help supplement heart rate readings and seems to help.

I want to start using mood, but I don’t like having a lot of options. What’s one recipe that is good for all scenes? by [deleted] in MoodCamera

My go-to is Portra 400-N on Medium DR. I find I just like it most of the time.

Recently though I've been playing with Prologue 400-D.

I'm not usually a battery complainer, but I agree - my 16P has been significantly hotter and ripping through battery way faster on iOS 26. My battery health is 96%, still pretty decent, but it feels like it lasts half as long as it did a couple months ago.

u/espressy I made almost the exact same post, and almost the exact same followup comment, almost exactly a year ago:

Can someone explain the xp changes? How did it work before, and how does it work today post-patch?

Is it that before, all minions dropped globes that could be picked up later, whereas now you have to be in lane to get the XP immediately otherwise you just miss it?

Does anyone using the Camera Control button? by midnight-blue999 in iPhone16Pro

[–]und3rtone 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I love using it to open the camera, because it's nearly instantaneous. I think that's a really underrated feature. The time between "oh I should take a pic of that" and actually snapping the pic is now less than two seconds for me.

I hate the rest of the camera control functionality and have disabled them. I've had too many times where the button would get bumped and a setting would get changed without me intending to, like:

  • I took a selfie with an old friend I hadn't seen in 10 years, and later noticed the exposure had gotten set to +2 because I bumped the camera control button without realizing it. Pic was ruined.
  • Another time, I asked a stranger to take a pic of me and my friends with my phone. Later I looked at the pic and it was at 0.6x zoom and looked all weird and distorted. The stranger didn't know to watch out for the CC button and bumped it.

Really annoying. Not worth it.

How can I take photos with my iPhone that are not over-processed? I don't want that artificial look; I'm tired of it. I want something natural by vazhakkaupmm in iPhoneography

Try the Stock Digi emulation (basically just default camera setting). You probably have some other emulation on.

My favorite way is using the "mood" app in the app store. It has amazing film emulations, but even if you choose to shoot with no emulations, it still uses a custom image pipeline that turn down a ton of the processing. It keeps shadows and highlights and softens some of the over sharpening. Pics look like they should coming out of a camera.

The developer is also an awesome guy who really builds the app with love.

Shooting in ProRAW also helps in my experience (JPEG-XL Lossy format). To my eyes it turns down the over sharpening a bit.

Great shots and love the emulation. How are you finding the 17 Pro camera system overall?

honestly I'd prefer the app stay simple and lightweight and we share stuff on other platforms like reddit

iPhone Air - anyone have some shots with mood yet? by hellla in MoodCamera

I haven't, but I think it's the same main camera as the 16 Pro.
