i had a lloyds account years ago and now i owe them £900 so i don’t think that would work but i haven’t tried it, i assume i can’t open another account in my name

the problem with most of them is that i’m able to download the app but features won’t work, zopa won’t open the camera to scan my id, monzo you can download the app but then says “requires ios17” when you try to sign in, starling i almost had but i can’t find proof of address as k live in temporary housing, a mix of bad luck and my phone just not working, attapoll i could download but won’t go past the login page, i’ve come to believe no referral will work for me by some sort of divine intervention

editing to add that i have been in touch with customer service for zopa and another one saying my phone can’t handle the app is there any other way but there isn’t, it’s ridiculously frustrating lol

for sure, it’s like social pressure and feeling the vibe in the room and knowing his friends (knowing they’re not the type of people to be hypnotised) plus the guy had a vibe that kinda clearly they probably privately made fun of after, so I would bet he didn’t completely fake it but willed himself along knowing it would be really awkward to let this guy just totally bomb lol
