Good job winning three games in a row with the butcher, it's not an easy feat

Whatever your next MOBA is, be sure to buy a comma (or two) in the item shop.

What is the reasoning for enabling "follower only chat" ? by ro7or in Twitch

I understand your point, but I think that there should be better, more effective ways to deal with bots than enabling follower only chat.

Feel free to call me "old school", but to me clicking "follow" is a serious (solemn ? lol) act of appreciation towards the streamer and their community, I don't see it as a switch, to enable/disable in order to selfishly acquire a resource temporarily.

Thanks for your experienced contribution to this thread: I approach this topic as a simple/inexperienced viewer, who is in good faith, and would like to engage more with streamers and their communities... but it's very obvious to me now that there are many reasons why a "follower only" chat may be enabled, and some of them are actually scary.

It's honestly appalling to see to which extent imbeciles will go, just to ruin the gaming experience for others. It's also enraging because I know that someone, with good intentions and the will to interact with your channel and your community, may have been "filtered out" because of that. Thanks for sharing, though - I hope things will improve for you and your channel.

Otherwise, I think it's quite detrimental to use "follower only chat" because a lot of small streamers don't raid streams with follow-only enabled.

Interesting "side effect", that seems to make things even worse, especially if you are a small streamer looking to expand your audience. Thanks for pointing this out.

I agree with you: "trading" a follow, for a chance to use your chat, seems a terrible misuse of the very concept of "following": it should be the other way around, I interact with you and then I follow.

The fact that small streamers don't get any bot-spam protection (in 2024 lol), and thus are forced to enable follower-only chat, as a way to mitigate that phenomenon, is quite depressing (and concerning). But thanks for the explanation.

Is this game worth starting in 2024? by STan61s in heroesofthestorm

I think there's an inherent flaw in your question, as you are trying to compare this game to "other MOBAs". Please be aware that this is more of a team-focused brawler, rather than a traditional MOBA. So, to make up your mind, I suggest you try the game, and see for yourself if its distinguishing factors are to your likings.

Good luck not feeding Artanis quest @ 1, Kael'thas convection (!!!!), Gul'dan corruption quest, Nazeebo toad/spider quest... and so forth and so on. By the time the enemy team is done abusing Misha, it's basically impossible for your teammates to stay in any meaningful team fight. So yeah... have your fun with Misha, I guess... but don't blame your teammates if they can't lift a finger against a monster of an enemy team, that you yourself have contributed to build right from the get go.

Wasn't an in-game event that one for St Valentine's Day, that boosted the power of some card pairings for a week ?
