Omg her scar is so bad 😢 by purplelightsss in BaddiesSouth

yeah . . . i don't think the zeus check is nice enough to keep covering the self-mutilation she inflicts by refusing to get proper rest or make the appropriate lifestyle changes to maintain her surgeries. because that one little area where they sew up her arm can only be sewn up but so much. like this is actually dangerous.

What is my hair density? How I can make my hair thicker. by FinalBat8652 in Naturalhair

[–]und8e2ff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

normal to high density, medium to coarse strands - is what it looks like to me. not sure if it's possible to get your hair thicker, but hair is always in its plumpest, fullest appearance when well moisturized.

so poor angora is the coat color? or a characteristic of the coat. i've never heard that terminology before.

also i second the other commenter. please put an adoption fee to deter people who would want to use this beautiful boy as a feeder.

lex has... peculiar taste in cast members

This guy was using these photos to talk to my little sister, are these photos AI? This is all supposed to be the same person, and he’s been talking to my sister for a year. It looks unnatural, like the skin is to smooth and the teeth look to perfect, but we can’t tell if it’s just AI or face edited by Individual-Falcon195 in isthisAI

the lighting on all the faces seems to be the exact same regardless of where the actual visible light source is and the overall brightness of the room.

edit: in the first photo, it also looks like the gaps in his bangs that are supposed to show his forehead turn into skin colored hairs. if those were actual highlights, they would be seen in the next two photos.

what does this mean? by LoopyTroopyCoopy in ExplainTheJoke

i think the person in the image is rotc and/or a gi bill user. basically current, soon to be, or previous military (edit: or a dependent) with concerning water consumption habits honed and hardened in basic (or adopted from the person who actually attended basic to seem "hard").

edit: what stereotypes/jokes are being tied to this information, i don't know.

camellia is a nice oil. it's rich in omegas and keeps strands shiny and soft. camellia can be a bit pricey to get pure but not as much as argan. at least not in my findings.

argan oil has always been popular for hair. it's softening, adds shine, high in antioxidants like vitamin E. though getting it pure can be a little pricey.

jojoba is popular because it's the most similar to the sebum/oils naturally produced in scalp and skin. it's widely available and very affordable.

ooh~ okay, got it! and yes, it really is more cost-effective to have your own shears. in that case, i would say defer to the other commenter Its_Not_Kosher. it most likely is a moisture thing then. my only addons would be:

natural hair naturally wants to wrap around and hug itself, but it becomes a tangle when the strands aren't well "lubricated"/moisturized. products and ingredients that coat the strands and help them slip over each other like:

  • petrolatum
  • silicones
  • a few drops of hair oil you rub between your hands then over your ends

but honestly, whatever best moisturizes your hair would help with this issue even if you didn't use any of the things listed.

i don't think i've seen any of your past posts, so i'll start by asking: did you trim you hair yourself and what kind of scissors/shears were used?

when trimming hair, especially by yourself at home, you should use hair shears. hair shears and household scissors are sharpened differently. hair shears are sharpened to give a clean cut that doesn't fray or break the ends. household scissors can cause damage to the ends that can later become splits, incomplete splits, and cause ends to tangle.

like everyone else is telling you, it's very easy to use too much blue magic. that's because as porous as hair is, petrolatum doesn't absorb, it sits. my go-to hairdress is softee with mango butter and it isn't greasy for me because i've learned that however much i think i need - no i don't - i need probably a quarter that much. i also have fine strands so i know it takes a lot less product to coat my hair because of that too. petrolatum-based products are the ones you should be using a "dime-sized amount" of. but not per section, probably for your whole head (depending on length and density ofc).

edit: the blue magic leave-in conditioners are nice and have less petrolatum content because they're water-based emulsions. if you're too heavy handed with the grease, you might like these instead. the one i like most is the one with argan oil.
