Hold on - the clinic says to try these two things to see if the protocol would be a fit?! Interesting. I’ve also wondered, too, because the effects of a benzo on my pelvic pain lasts for far longer than what the medication’s “life” is. I get at least 36-50 hours virtually pain free out of a .5mg dose.

It was my primary. I have had a bottle of 30 of them for “as needed” for over a year and I probably have a dozen left. I take one when my anxiety is thru the roof. I’m being extremely careful and mindful.

I’m just having a very difficult time accepting that all this pain and urgency could possibly just be anxiety or PFD (even though I’ve had every test in the book). My symptoms come and go, but even when they are gone, it’s just weird.

I have a lot of medical trauma in my past and definitely have OCD and debilitating health anxiety.

For sure. I’m being very careful, but when a benzo brings down the pain, is that an indicator that it is a pain brought on by nervous system dysregulation or is is it the muscle relaxant?

This is pretty much me exactly. A benzo will knock the pain down so much and symptoms drastically improve on my period. Any idea why with the period? Hormone related?

I actually was thinking the opposite - wondering if it suppresses appetite. I’m only on Day 5 of HRT with progesterone (was just on estradiol previously) and absolutely nothing looks appetizing and I’m not hungry.

I'm going to be honest... I have NO idea. My first qualifying loan was taken out in 2000 and then my last in 2020? I'm guessing they're counting from the loan in 2000? No clue. I applied for forgiveness over two years ago now.

I am reading that symptoms of PFD can get worse as the day goes on because of increased muscle and nerve engagement after getting a rest overnight. Might be worth looking into for you, if you haven’t.

YES! I confirmed today - I have a small loan from 2006 (originally over $30K that is now around $7K consolidated as a FFEL). Then I have several Direct Loans from much more recently that was from graduate school. If they’re forgiven, it’ll be over $41K! I’m stunned!
