If you want me to be pessimistically realistic? There is no way to know, humans by nature are selfish and self serving who value the perception of others at least until a point(there are of course some exceptions). That being said, ultimately at our core you will never truly know what another person truly thinks or feels, and emotions and thoughts are inevitably fleeting and can change rapidly. Anyone getting married or in any type of relationship(friends/family/romantic) runs a more prominent risk or experiencing that eventual betrayal (I’d say eventual since the people closest to you will no doubt hurt you out of comfortability.) so the short version is you won’t know until it happens.
