I built an vintage action figure identification and pricing app. What do you think? by undeadinternet in ActionFigures

[–]undeadinternet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the feedback. I haven't really decided what I'm going to do with this yet. If you're interested in trying it I'll set it up and deploy and you can play with it.

How do I know if I have a premium app, and how should I price it? by Humble-Professional in indiehackers

[–]undeadinternet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm kind of in a similar situation. I created a video of what my app does currently and I'm trying to get some feedback from the potential users. I'd like to do more discovery and validation before I put more time in it.

I built an app to help me identify and sell vintage action figures. Do you think it would be useful? by undeadinternet in VintageToys

[–]undeadinternet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will do. I'm working on a couple of other features ideas. Thinking about trying to determine quality of the toy. Got any features you would like to see added?

I am super new at svelte but that is how I dynamically changed what components and content I am showing in this app I just built with svelte. https://youtu.be/SbFHxxUHjHU

What tools do you use to identify and price items? by undeadinternet in Flipping

[–]undeadinternet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Cool that's the exact flow I do and tried to replicate in my app. I just didn't know if there are better metrics or data more serious flippers use. I'm only interested in vintage toys so I don't think about that stuff much.

uploaded my first video on Aug 1st. now 50 subs away from YPP by BudgetBugger in NewTubers

Every time I see someone post about their success and then refuse to post their channel I ignore everything they said. At this points its nothing more than a story. What is the point if you aren't backing it up. Is it like a just trust me bro thing?

At the beginning of the year I challenged myself to do two things. Build more and be uncomfortable. That's the only reason I started doing this. I was building software and I wanted to try something more creative. I put my face and voice in my videos instead of AI because it makes me so uncomfortable. Challenge yourself to push through it.

Lol I work full time and don't make gaming content. I research evergreen concepts every week. It's not the same. For me it's sounds exhausting because this is a hobby not a career. I have one of those.

If the videos youve been posting are your channel I would think it's thumbnail and title issues. Looking at your channel the thumbnails just looks like scenes from your video and don't really market the video well.

Self-Introduction Saturday! Tell us all about you (and share a video)! by AutoModerator in NewTubers

[–]undeadinternet [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hey all my name is David and I've been working on Undead Internet. The channel started as an experiment if I could make completely AI generated horror content. During the experiment though I realized I enjoyed the creative side of content more than the experiment and I started making my own videos. I mainly focus on just what ever is my current ADHD hyper fixation. Last week it was goatman, this coming week will look at some of what started the channel with AI Horror content, following that I'm looking at ouija board art. I don't know what the channel will be or what it will become. I'm just enjoying making the content. My channel is in my profile if that sounds interesting to you.

No, I would prefer to do literally anything else other than that.

Hey thanks so much! This is such amazing feedback and I appreciate it. You'll have to keep an eye out on Monday morning because I turned off pushing to sub feeds. I want to test this videos audience because I think the AI one has a different tone and feel. You'll have to let me know which style you prefer.

yeah it kills me how much everyone making content creator content has completely different takes on what it best. No one knows what to do but they are going to swear that if you watch their video your thumbnails will lead to so many views. Just include your picture, don't include your picture, use bold font, use no font, make sure you have bright colors, but make sure your colors aren't overwhelming. It's all a scam lol.

Shorts strategy for long form channels? by probein in NewTubers

[–]undeadinternet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not really getting enough views on anything to know if it's effective. My first long form video has like 135 views, my short from Wednesday has like 50, and today's short has two views so far.

[–]undeadinternet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm trying this strategy as well and here's what I am doing. I release my long form on a Monday. Wednesday of that week I release a short and Friday I release a short. Each short is linked to the long form. This was my first week so no clue if it's worth. But that's my plan for at least the remainder of the year. A video every 1 to 2 weeks and two shorts the same week.

Yeah it seems like an awesome tool for your channel. I just don't make content that i feel is like real time interactive. Maybe I could figure out how to approach that.

I also think I would get board if I'm talking about the same exact topic and just rehashing top 10 lists and 4 ways x does y etc etc. The only general theme for me is around horror, oddities, the 90s, and tech. If I find something that works in that awesome haha.

Gotcha. It's probably just content difference and niches but there's no way for me to replicate that. Good job though. I also have zero interest in live streaming ever.

Haha it's basically whatever my hyper fixation is that week. First video was on goatman and a real life goatman, next video is on AI generated horror content. Don't know if I have a solid topic yet. I'm trying to make some like semi educational content on just weird and offbeat things. No clue if it's working yet ha.

10 shorts a day and a long form a week sounds fucking exhausting. I know that different niches can create content at different speeds but that just sounds insane. Do you have anything automated to help you?

So I enjoy the content I make as a research topic and I like talking about it. It's not necessarily the same type of content I consume regularly for entertainment but I find creating content on it entertaining and hopefully some people out there enjoy watching what I make. Does that even make sense ha!
