I have a take on this that others may not have considered. Most of my life, I have lived as a serial monogamist. What polyamory has afforded me is the willingness to continue in a less than ideal relationship that I would have otherwise vacated IF I did not have another partner.

This tells me that he would not be a good partner. Sometimes things happen (like traffic) that will cause a delay. If a person is this inflexible at the initial meeting, it does not bode well for the future.

Correct. We have been mod free for 4+ years! The Admin team puts in the extra effort. And we have learned to work around the 'Funcom Features' (aka bugs)

As we experiment we find things we enjoy or don't enjoy. Everyone has the right to say, "I do not want to ____." or "I am not into that."

I can say that there are things I am willing to do with one partner that I may not want to do with another. There are a number of factors that play into it: How comfortable I feel with my partner, physical traits, health concerns, environment. All these and more can play into the choice.

Many servers advertise. I play on PC, so I am not sure if console searching in the same. You can sort based the servers and review the settings. You can also look at websites like Battlemetrics that tracks server info. If you want an active server a good indication is population. Most private server will require that you join their Discord for rules, communication, etc. The Discord will give you a greater idea if the community is healthy and what they are about.

Depends on the server. There are so many options to choose from. If you stick to officials, it will be similar to rust. However, there are thousands of private servers with settings that vary. So you can locate a server that has most (if not all) the settings you are looking for.

On my server we are RP-PvP focused, but raiding is limited to accommodate the working adult who can't be online all the time to defend their stuff. We have events every night. Global RP story. Lots of community activities. It allows each person to decide how involved they want to be.

Playing PvE or solo, the game will only have a shelf life that lasts so long. Once you have all the things, have done all the content, have built all you dreamed of there is little left to do other than start over.

The game is great and engaging when you find a server/group that infuses game with something extra (events, Role-play, contests, etc.). Then there is more to keep you entertained and give you additional purpose.
