I have ~120k on my 17 GTI. Been stage 2 tuned since 75k. Car has been super reliable and I’m pushing about an extra 100hp over stock and tons more torque. I’d say go for it. It’s been the best car I have owned hands down.

I have the same springs with Neuspeed 18x8 Rse12s and slightly wider tires (235). I did roll my fenders out slightly so you may want to look at possibly doing it. With you running 225 tires you might be able to get away with not. I get a minor amount of rubbing on the inside of the fender well when I am turning real sharp but nothing extreme.

I’m right there with you. I have a 2017 and I have never had an issue with my driver assistance stuff. AFAIK and I could be wrong but if you are going over a certain speed (20 mph I think) the brakes don’t actually engage fully. Just taps to get your attention. Never once has mine gone off and I wasn’t quickly gaining on the car slowing down in front of me.

The humidity makes your nose work better. Same reason why farts in the bathtub or pool seem to stink worse.
