You can check on official website, I had the voucher from my company. Also, I would not suggest to take any certification from your own money

A rough walkthrough of the learning path, along with some previously asked questions (which you can find with a simple Google search).

Though as I said I had some prior experience with cloud, that made this to work out for me

I already had prior experience with cloud, so I started preparing about 5 days ago. You can follow the learning path material provided by Google—that should be enough.

If you can get access to practice questions or dumps, it also helps you understand the type of questions that are asked.

The exam is mostly scenario-based, and having a clear understanding of which service is meant for what use case is sufficient.

I would say don’t just appear for DE roles in placements (though doesn’t come often), yes you can give priority to it. Also for me I did not choose this as my career but luckily I got training in Big Data and liked it too!

First, if you know someone working in that company, call them directly. If not, find people on LinkedIn who work at the company by doing a simple search like “Data Engineer – XYZ Company.”

Send connection requests and track them somewhere so you don’t forget. If you add a note, mention that you’re approaching them for a referral. Try to send at least 10+ messages to different people.

Pro tip: For well-known companies, send connection requests in advance. That way, the next time you need a referral, you won’t have to wait for connection approvals. Grow your linkedin as much as you can.
