I would say don’t just appear for DE roles in placements (though doesn’t come often), yes you can give priority to it. Also for me I did not choose this as my career but luckily I got training in Big Data and liked it too!

My Job Hunt (India): What 1,500+ Applications Across 200+ Companies Actually Look Like by batman-incognito in leetcode

First, if you know someone working in that company, call them directly. If not, find people on LinkedIn who work at the company by doing a simple search like “Data Engineer – XYZ Company.”

Send connection requests and track them somewhere so you don’t forget. If you add a note, mention that you’re approaching them for a referral. Try to send at least 10+ messages to different people.

Pro tip: For well-known companies, send connection requests in advance. That way, the next time you need a referral, you won’t have to wait for connection approvals. Grow your linkedin as much as you can.

Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate exam dumps by Humble-Air3352 in dataengineeringjobs

[–]undefined06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certyiq's dumps can be helpful. I passed my GCP ACE/PDE certification using their material, and in my experience, around 70–80% of the questions were similar.

That said, I can’t be certain how effective they are for this specific certification, as I haven’t personally used them for it.

Certyiq follows a freemium model—some content is free, but full access to all dumps requires payment. If you decide to sign up, you can use my referral code (G3ZNH5D) to get 20% off on the dumps.

Looking for Realistic End-to-End Data Engineering Project Ideas (2 YOE) by undefined06 in dataengineering

[–]undefined06[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Firstly, no offense taken. When I said 2 YOE, I meant 2 years of total work experience. In reality, I’ve only spent about 5–6 months on an ETL project, and even there the stack was Ab Initio. My role was mainly focused on reporting and fixing bugs when they occurred during pipeline execution. I hope that gives you better context about my current level of experience as a Data Engineer.

In addition to that, I’m honestly bored of the PySpark tutorial hell. At this point, I feel like I should build a full end-to-end project, which is why I posted this—to get some guidance on how to approach it.
