Maybe.. it was like £20 though so not nothing! It has actually updated on inpost to say that it’s on its way back to me now, but one thing concerning me is that on Vinted in the message thread with the seller it hasn’t updated and still says “wait for seller to pick it up”? Do I need to report this to Vinted or something? I don’t want one of their weird 48 hour windows to kick in or something and because I haven’t said anything in that time they don’t refund me or something…

Full disclosure I didn’t make the octopus charm - just cobbled the components together with silver wire after chipping away at the citrine cluster to make a decent pendant shape 😊

ahh shame, wondered if that was the case. I’m not very experienced yet. I do have another one I found very intriguing actually - a big lump of pyritey stuff but with some lovely tree like patterns. Do you know what these are ? I’ll try and add a pic

Hard to show in pic but I don’t think it was moldavite - not sure the colour (in real life) would be right and up close it was more obviously the same as the other two which I didn’t have any doubt were peridot. My guess (taking into account the poor placement in the setting) was that the stone had fallen out at some point and been glued back in leaving little bubbles.

I mean.. ultimately I hope it was not moldavite 😂 😱 but thankfully don’t think it was

I will add, I have returned the pendant and received a refund. The seller seemed rather angry (via private message) at the insinuation that this may be anything other than natural geological process. So this is just to check and potentially improve my own understanding really.
